From the rail roads to the street scene, over the past 120 years Carhartt have made a credible name for themselves with sought after products and a strong brand ethos that champions durability, style and quality. In the early days in Detroit, founder Hamilton Carhartt employed a unionised work force to manufacture duck cotton overalls. Today the Carhartt's still run the business, offering heavy duty garments that promise the same standard of quality to a slightly bigger client base.
Carhartt's foray into street wear and their support of the independent music and street scene proves they are as current and vital to clothing and culture as they were over a century ago....
Founded in 2004, Brixton is a timeless apparel brand fueled by a collective of counter cultures, but forever inspired by easy Southern California living. Conceived through the vision of co-founder David Stoddard, the independent imprint is nearing a decade of relevance with its consistent range of clothing that highlights just about everyone and excludes none.
Designed around the interests of David, his business partners, and talented team of creatives, the brand – whose name was inspired by English punk band The Clash – has grown tenfolds since its humble beginnings as a headwear startup out of Stoddard’s garage....
In the emblematic neighborhood of Poblenou, just a few minutes from the sea and the Mar Bella Skatepark, Venero is born. Located on the ground floor of a building from the 1900s, the high doors and glass showcase of a place that is more than just a skate shop stand out even more.
The concept of Venero is to combine an exhibition of selected products in an industrial design environment, bringing together the elements that characterize urban fashion and skateboarding: wood, metal and concrete.
In our exhibition space, in addition to fashion brands such as Stüssy, Herschel, Stance, Brixton, Nixon, Fjallraven, Thrasher, Rip N Dip, there are two mini chill-areas, a workshop zone and an outdoor patio with vertical garden for the sunniest days.
The large selection of skate hard material presents brands such as Madness, Welcome, Polar, Palace, Primitive in addition to the well-known Santa Cruz, Enjoi, Almost, Darkstar, Blind, Independent, Venture, Thunder, Spitfire, Tensor and Bones.
If you pass by Poblenou, whether is to fix your skate, buy clothes or have a coffee watching a new videopart, Venero is there for that .. and much more!
